Join us in reading the New Testament in a year.  There are four ways you can participate.

  1. Download the YouVersion Bible app on your phone, or go to my.bible.com on your computer.  Add Pastor Dan Robelen as your friend within the app and he can then invite you to the group online reading together.  Also, this link will invite you to the group reading plan: https://bible.com/p/55682722/15de7a91fba6beb576e11db0bc2148b4
  2. If you’d rather read it online by yourself, without the group chat function, look for the 5x5x5 Discipleship Journal reading plan.  You can find it here: https://my.bible.com/reading-plans/232-discipleship-journals-5x5x5-reading-plan
  3. What if you want to read it with us but in your own Bible and not online?  We got you!  Stay with the rest of us offline using a paper copy you can use as a book mark.  We have paper copies on the table in the narthex, and you can download the plan digitally here as a PDF: http://dextergospel.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/5x5x5BibleReadingPlan.pdf
  4. Finally, you can stay with us one week at a time as we publish the week’s passages here and in the weekly bulletin.

Quote for this Week

God’s Word is powerful, not only to give life, but also to deliver warnings and bring judgment and punishment to the disobedient: “Is not my Word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29). ~S. Michael Houdmann

Verse of the Week

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” ~Hebrews 4:12
