Join us in reading the New Testament in a year. There are four ways you can participate.
- Download the YouVersion Bible app on your phone, or go to my.bible.com on your computer. Add Pastor Dan Robelen as your friend within the app and he can then invite you to the group online reading together. Also, this link will invite you to the group reading plan: https://bible.com/p/55682722/15de7a91fba6beb576e11db0bc2148b4
- If you’d rather read it online by yourself, without the group chat function, look for the 5x5x5 Discipleship Journal reading plan. You can find it here: https://my.bible.com/reading-plans/232-discipleship-journals-5x5x5-reading-plan
- What if you want to read it with us but in your own Bible and not online? We got you! Stay with the rest of us offline using a paper copy you can use as a book mark. We have paper copies on the table in the narthex, and you can download the plan digitally here as a PDF: http://dextergospel.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/5x5x5BibleReadingPlan.pdf
- Finally, you can stay with us one week at a time as we publish the week’s passages here and in the weekly bulletin.
Chapters for this Week
2/5 | Acts Chapter 10 |
2/6 | Acts Chapter 11 |
2/7 | Acts Chapter 12 |
2/8 | Acts Chapter 13 |
2/9 | Acts Chapter 14 |
In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality: This is the foundation for Peter’s understanding that the gospel should now go forth to Gentiles. This statement goes completely against the prevailing Jewish thought at that time that God certainly did show partiality, towards the Jews and against the Gentiles. ~David Guzik
Verse of the Week
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. ~Acts 10:34-35
