Door Prizes
Once again, we have terrific door prizes supplied by local craftspeople! For those who chose to participate, we will draw winners for door prizes after all the meals have been picked up. We will notify winners by text or email Friday night or Saturday morning. If you win, you can select and pick up your prize our fireside follow up Saturday evening beginning at 6 PM. Selection will be first-come, first-served. If you can’t make it then, you can still drop by any of our regular services or during our regular office hours to select your prize from those that remain (they’re all pretty awesome!)
Fireside Follow-Up
The weather is looking mighty nice for a little bonfire tomorrow evening!
Since we weren’t able to eat indoors together this year, we figured it would be nice to still have a time when we can hang out safely and chat a bit. We’re setting up a fire pit on the church grounds, and we’d love to see you around it, beginning at 6 PM. We’ll have hotdogs and marshmallows, so feel free to bring a chair and a roasting stick, come on out and shoot the breeze with us around the fire on Saturday evening. This will also be the first opportunity to select and pick up door prizes. As with everything else related to this event, there is no cost.
An Invitation
We’re thrilled to offer you a taste of some amazing physical food from the amazing creation of our amazing God. But if there’s something else we can do for you, a spiritual need we can meet, we’d love to do that too. We’re really even better equipped to help meet the needs of the heart than of the stomach. And if you would like to be a part of a team of people who are out here trying to help people, serve God, and honor Jesus Christ, we’d love to talk with you further.
So if you have needs we can meet, or if you want to help us meet the needs of others, please contact us or come by for a visit. We’d love to serve you in the name of Christ, and we’d love to serve Christ with you.
Our Wild Beast Feast has always been completely free to attend and participate in fully. We don’t require, expect, solicit, or even particularly desire donations. Each year, though, there are some folk who really want to donate toward the costs of the event, so we’ll leave this here at the bottom in case you want to chip in. Again, this is not expected, and you are more than welcome to participate fully without donating – this is Dexter Gospel Church’s opportunity to give to and be a blessing to our community. God has given so much to us freely that we enjoy the chance to do the same when we can.
