The speaker this year is Aaron Wilson

Aaron grew up near the cornfields in Illinois, largely unaware of the monster bucks lurking there, instead fishing the boundary waters of Minnesota and loving fishing. After Bible college, he spent nine years serving at the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, MI, where he served on full time staff as the discipleship and youth pastor.  While there, the Lord strengthened and grew their desire to minister to youth and families.  It was during this time that his father-in-law introduced him to hunting white tail.

Aaron has served as Executive Director of Camp CoBeAc since January of 2014. He loves the opportunity to preach at a number of churches and at camp, and to invest in our full time and summer staff. On the side, he has a few triathlons under his belt, but his favorite hobby is definitely hunting. With 640 acres as your backyard and state land surrounding it would be hard to not become a hunter! Now, also a farmer (food plot), and a deer stalker (more hunting cameras than he'll admit to). He, Jack, and Wil (sons) now name the deer on property- yes, it is that serious. After adding a number of mounts to the CoBeAc dining hall, Aaron has broadened his appetite to include hunting Elk. Jack and Wil, both enjoy hunting; Jack made his father proud this year by dropping a 9-point all, dressing and processing all by himself (even to the meat to the freezer!). For the past four years Aaron has been able to be apart of an annual trip to Alaska for a salmon-run float trip which has a dual purpose of ministering and discipling young men in their late teens and early twenties. Camp is a crazy, but blessed pace with year round camps, rentals, and retreats, and with traveling many weekends to fellowship with churches that are engaged with CoBeAc. When packing up the camp van, Aaron reminds the family to "bring the fun with us," as we "serve the Lord- with gladness!"

Camp CoBeAc offers Summer Camp and Snow Camp for juniors and teens, Young Adult Retreats,  Lady Retreats,  Women Counseling Women, Father & Son Retreats,  Man Camp, and Family Camp.

Man Camp features a zip line, mini golf course, rock wall, coffee shop, gift shop, and more. Men are encouraged to bring firearms for the rifle, pistol, and multi-station clay pigeon ranges.

Door Prizes

Church members and sponsors donate door prizes for this event.  In the past, we have had paintings by local artists, homemade maple syrup, ammunition, fishing and hunting gear, quilts, crocheted blankets, and much more. This year each person registered will receive 4 tickets to place within the jar of the prize you would like to enter to win. You may place from one to all four tickets for an item.  One winner per door prize will be drawn from the jar.
